Most v-bits have a flat edge on them, so they scrape the wood away which can leave a slightly rougher finish, which may require sanding. What is a V-bit / Carving Bit
V-bits are used from sign making to extremely fine detail carves.
The 90-degree is the sign-maker. Engrave ultra-crisp edges with this bit.
The 60-degree is for swirls and extra features that make your work ‘pop’. It is also for smaller letters.
