The 1/8″ compression bit (also known as an up/down bit, or compression endmill) is a unique bit for CNC routers. It allows you to carve your CNC woodworking projects AND cut it out while leaving both the top and bottom edges of your project clean (eliminates tear-out on top and bottom).
The 1/8″ compression bit can cut the entire depth of 1/2″ material in one pass. Excellent for all types of wood, including plywood and MDF.
