Your 1/8" 0-flute bit is here! 0-flute bits are the go-to bits for all things acrylic with CNC routers. If you haven't created LED-lit acrylic projects, it's definitely time.

You are getting a 1/8" diameter O flute bits to tackle those detailed Acrylic signs you'll be making.

Acrylic requires a high-spiral bit that minimizes contact with the plastic to prevent melting, which 'galls' the material to the bit, making it ineffective. This also virtually eliminates the other enemy of cutting plastic...melting it and causing it to bind to the cut surface.

The specs, feeds and speeds are listed below.

Save 25% when you buy the set, 1/8" AND 1/4". You can get them by clicking here now.

All bits on this site are made of carbide steel. Carbide is what professional metal machinists use to make complex items like car engines. It stays sharp 50x longer than conventional CNC router bits.

I have not had a chance to use it yet.

I hope that it will give me a good finish on some acrylic I need to cut when I get my longmill

O-Flute 1/8" is amamzing

1/8" 0-Flute Bit For Acrylic is an amazing cutting and finish quality bit!

I cut HDPE daily and have used Amana bits prior to switching to the IDC 1/8" 0-Flute Bit For Acrylic and cannot believe the difference. IDC bit is by far the best bit for my application. Less noise, smoother cut and faster feed rates.
Have increased my feed rate by 50% with better finished product results.

Highly recommend this bit to anyone cutting HDPE.

Cuts like butter

The O flute worked quite well on 0.208" plexiglass, 2 passes at 0.12"/pass. Turned out better than the competition. Really have to watch to assure no build up on the bit. Adhere to the recommended feeds and speeds for sure (which is nice to have).
