I don’t ever write reviews, this bit is incredible. Using the recommended feeds and speeds on a shapeoko 5 pro and the bit isn’t even close to breaking a sweat. Will definitely be pushing it harder. It saves so much time on huge 3d carves and honestly the finish isn’t even that bad at all for a roughing bit. Truly impressive.
I seldom write reviews for tools that do what they're supposed to, especially when they are hyped up like The Beast; but when it does something amazing, I have to share. After bolting down my fence I ran the wrong toolpath (ALWAYS check the previews) and my machine dutifully tried to redrill the bolt holes. It missed a lot of steps; it was looking forward to MDF and hit 3044 stainless. It was on the second bolt before I could hit the emergency stop. The Beast DIDN'T BREAK, hell it didn't even chip! A little bit of the coating rubbed off, but it was still sharp. It went on to rough out the profile without incident. My Shapeoko 5.1 is a pretty strong machine, and it got pretty far into the bolt. Maybe with a plunge rate a little less than 70ipm. This bit isn't a Beast it's a %$@#!! Juggernaut.

Thank you IDC! I was carving aggressively and broke the Beast. IDC promply replaced it with no questions asked. I have used the new Beast a few times already (more conservative this time).
